Skellington of a Tyrannosaurus Rex
Natural History Museum, Oxford

Media: Warm grey Pantone marker, dark brown fineliner
Completed: November 2006
I tried experimenting with different ways of drawing accurately without being too sketchy, and decided to switch from pencil to pen to avoid making unnecessary marks for the sake of ir.
The general guideline was sketched out with a warm marker because the tone of the paper itself is warm, so it would blend in the background.
I really enjoyed drawing this piece, although a small crowd of people decided to stand in front of the skellington and oggle for quite a while
so I left to browse around the museum.
It's a shame I completely missed the extra rooms - will defo have to go back and be a bit more observant if I ever visit Oxford again.
