My first painting of the year! Also the first using gouche paints. I think it's alright - could've used the paint a bit thicker but I need to save it to do a portrait for my grandad. The paint came in such teeny weeny tubies so I watered it down a little bit.

Doing this after such a long hiatus reminded me how much I love painting. I'll definately have to organise some time to do these things more often to avoid getting rusty.
